About

A clinic for what conventional missed.

Align Integrative Wellness is a functional medicine practice founded by two licensed providers who got tired of watching the conventional system fail patients who needed depth, time, and real diagnostic work. We built Align to do it right.

Co-founder · Clinical Director

Licensed: Utah

Cory is a board-certified provider with a clinical focus on chronic, multi-system illness that conventional medicine routinely under-treats. His patient population spans chronic Lyme and coinfection, intracellular infections (viral reactivation, mycoplasma, parasites), and hormone optimization for men and women. He came to functional medicine the way most lyme literate clinicians do: through patients who had been told nothing was wrong but were obviously not well. His approach is lab-driven, sequential, and honest about complexity. When antimicrobial protocols or other targeted interventions are the right tool, he uses them. When they are not, he says so. He sees patients via telehealth in Utah and performs in-person procedures for established patients in our Utah office.

Clinical focus

  • • Chronic Lyme & coinfection protocols
  • • Intracellular infection treatment
  • • Hormone optimization (TRT, BHRT)
  • • Complex chronic illness workups

Co-founder · Clinical Provider

Licensed: Utah

Rayna is a board-certified provider licensed in Utah. Her clinical focus is metabolic health, hormone optimization, gut and fatigue workups, and the comprehensive functional medicine intake. She leads our GLP-1 protocols and the women’s health side of the practice. Her approach is rooted in real lab data and a refusal to dismiss what patients tell her about their bodies. Most of her patients arrive having been told their labs are normal while clearly feeling otherwise. She takes the time to investigate what conventional ranges miss, what hormone shifts actually look like through perimenopause and beyond, and what a metabolic protocol should accomplish beyond a number on a scale. She sees telehealth patients in Utah and is expanding into longer-term hormone and metabolic care for women through their full lifecycle.

Clinical focus

  • • Hormone optimization (BHRT, perimenopause, menopause)
  • • GLP-1 / metabolic protocols
  • • Gut, fatigue & root-cause workups
  • • Comprehensive functional medicine intakes

License verification is available on request and via the Utah DOPL.

How we practice

Four principles that shape every visit.

  • 01

    Lab-driven, not protocol-driven.

Every patient gets comprehensive functional labs before treatment. We test broadly, treat sequentially, and adjust based on response, not on a one-size-fits-all calendar.

  • 02

    Honest about complexity.

Most chronic illness has multiple drivers, not one neat diagnosis. We’ll tell you when we know, when we don’t, and when treatment will take longer than you want it to.

  • 03

    Transparent about cost.

Pricing is published on every service page. We discuss specialty lab costs and treatment-phase budgets upfront. No surprise bills, no hidden fees.

  • 04

    Time and attention as standard.

Initial visits run 30 to 60 minutes depending on tier. Follow-ups are 30 minutes. The 7-minute insurance visit is the problem we’re solving for, not the model we’re replicating.

Why we built this

Conventional medicine is good at acute care.

It’s built for emergencies, fractures, infections that respond to a short course of antibiotics. For those things, modern medicine works.

For chronic, multi-system, root-cause-needs-investigating cases: the chronic Lyme patient who’s been told it’s anxiety, the perimenopausal woman whose labs are “normal,” the post-COVID patient whose primary care doctor doesn’t know what to do, the GLP-1 candidate whose insurance won’t cover the medication that would actually help, conventional medicine wasn’t designed to deliver what these patients need.

Align exists for those patients. We work with depth instead of speed, real labs instead of guesswork, and time instead of seven-minute visits. We’re honest about what we can do and what we can’t. We tell the truth about cost.

That’s the practice. That’s the brand.
