How we compare
Clinical care vs. subscription programs.
We are not the cheapest. We are not trying to be. Here is the honest comparison.
| Align Integrative | Typical low-cost subscription programs | |
|---|---|---|
| Provider | Same licensed provider every visit | Rotating provider chat |
| Labs ordered | Yes, baseline + monitoring | Typically none |
| Visit length | 30 minutes, video | 5 to 10 minute async chat |
| Titration | Adjusted to your response | Standard schedule, limited adjustment |
| Pharmacy | Licensed Utah 503A | Varies (often unnamed) |
| Required visits per year | 2 (mid-year safety + annual review) | Monthly chat |
| Eligibility evaluation | Lab-based + clinical | Form-only screening |
| What you get for the difference | Real clinical care, real labs, real provider relationship | Lower price, less oversight |
If lowest price is your top priority, low-cost subscription programs are real options. If clinical care, labs, and provider continuity matter more, that is why we exist.
How it works
Consultation. Lab review. Eligibility. Prescription if appropriate.
A real medical evaluation, not a 5-minute online form.
01
Consultation request.
Submit the form below. Takes 3 minutes. We text you within one business day to confirm your intake form and lab order.
02
Lab review.
Health history form (15 to 20 minutes, online). Lab orders sent to LabCorp or Quest near you. Standard panel typically insurance-billable.
03
Eligibility determination.
Initial visit ($250, 30 minutes, video). Your provider reviews your history, lab results, and clinical picture to determine whether compounded GLP-1 therapy is medically appropriate for you.
04
Prescription if appropriate.
If your provider determines that compounded GLP-1 therapy is appropriate, a prescription is sent to our compounding pharmacy. If not, your provider explains why and recommends alternatives.
Prescription requires medical evaluation. Not all patients qualify. Individual results vary. Compounded medications are prescribed at the discretion of the licensed provider.
Visit schedule
Two required visits per year. The rest are optional.
We do not lock you into monthly fees. We do not require you to come in every 30 days. We require two safety checkpoints: a Mid-Year Safety Check at month 6 and an Annual Review at month 12. Anything else is up to you.
Initial Intake
Required · 30 minComprehensive intake, lab review, and eligibility determination. If clinically appropriate, your provider initiates a prescription. One visit, walk out with a plan.
Optional check-ins
Optional · 30 minSide effect questions, dose adjustment requests, or just a conversation. As many or as few as you need.
Mid-Year Safety Check
Required · 30 minRequired. Side effect screening, trajectory check, dose reassessment, prescription continuation if clinically appropriate.
Optional check-ins
Optional · 30 minSame as above. As needed, not on a schedule.
Annual Review
Required · 45 minRequired. Full lab panel review, comprehensive year-in-review, dose decision and prescription continuation for year two if clinically appropriate.
Refill rules: If prescribed, refills are permitted as long as your last visit was within 6 months and the prescription remains clinically appropriate. If 6 or more months have passed without a visit, your next required visit (Mid-Year Safety or Annual Review) must be completed before your next refill.
Year 2 and beyond: The same pattern repeats. One $175 Mid-Year Safety Check at month 18, one $250 Annual Review at month 24, optional check-ins anytime in between.
Your providers
Cory and Rayna Fowler, FNP-C.
Married providers. Both board-certified. Both licensed in Utah. Cory has a background in functional medicine and chronic illness work. Rayna leads our metabolic and women’s health protocols.
You see the same provider every visit. Not a rotating telehealth queue. Not an “assigned care team” that changes every month.

FAQ
What patients ask.
Common questions
-
Is this safe? +
GLP-1 medications (tirzepatide, semaglutide) have an extensive safety record when used appropriately in clinically appropriate patients. We screen for contraindications at intake (personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma, MEN2, current pregnancy, severe gastroparesis, prior pancreatitis), monitor with labs (CBC, CMP, lipase, HbA1c, lipid panel, TSH), and adjust doses based on your tolerance. Not all patients qualify; eligibility is determined during your initial visit. -
How is this different from low-cost subscription programs? +
Three things. (1) You see the same licensed provider every visit, not a rotating chat queue. (2) We order real baseline labs and monitor key markers throughout your protocol. (3) Doses are titrated based on your individual response, not a stock schedule. The price difference reflects the depth of clinical care. -
How much does the consultation cost? +
Initial visit: $250 (30 minutes, video, includes intake review and lab order). Required follow-ups: Mid-Year Safety Check at month 6 ($175) and Annual Review at month 12 ($250). Optional check-ins anytime you need them ($175 each). Standard labs typically insurance-billable through LabCorp or Quest. Compounded medication pricing is discussed during your initial visit and depends on your prescribed dose and frequency. -
How often do I have to come in? +
Two required visits per year: a Mid-Year Safety Check at month 6 ($175) and an Annual Review at month 12 ($250). That is it for required visits. You can schedule additional optional check-ins anytime you want help with side effects, dose adjustments, or general questions ($175 each). Refills are permitted as long as you have had a visit within the last 6 months and the prescription remains clinically appropriate. -
What if I do not tolerate the medication? +
If prescribed and you experience side effects, we pause, lower the dose, or switch medications based on your symptoms. Most GI side effects (nausea, fatigue, constipation) improve within 1 to 2 weeks of dose adjustment. If GLP-1 therapy is not the right fit for your physiology, we will tell you and discuss alternatives. -
Can I cancel any time? +
Yes. There are no contracts, no minimum commitments, no cancellation fees. Future refills require an active patient relationship and ongoing clinical eligibility. -
Who can prescribe this for me? +
Cory Fowler, FNP-C (Utah license 7867102-4405) and Rayna Fowler, FNP-C (Utah license 8249677-4405). Both are licensed providers in Utah. Telehealth visits available to adults physically located in Utah. Prescription is at the discretion of the licensed provider after evaluation. -
About the compounding pharmacy. +
When a compounded GLP-1 prescription is appropriate, it is dispensed by Mountain View Pharmacy (Bountiful, UT, licensed 503A compounding pharmacy). Compounded preparations are not FDA-approved as compounded preparations. The active ingredients (semaglutide, tirzepatide) are well-studied compounds, but the specific compounded preparation is prescribed under the licensed practice of medicine after individualized clinical evaluation. -
What about insurance? +
Visits and compounded medication are cash-pay. Standard monitoring labs through LabCorp or Quest are typically insurance-billable depending on your plan. We provide a superbill on request for out-of-network reimbursement of visits if your plan supports it. -
Do you require an in-person visit? +
No. Everything is telehealth. Lab draws happen at LabCorp or Quest near you. If prescribed, medication ships to your home.
